Hello! My name is Ms. Maggy. I am the Center Director and Preschool teacher at Elm Tree Christian Child Care. I have been working here since April of 2015, and feel that the staff, students, and families here are like a second family to me! Someone once told me that if you like what you do, you never have to work a day in your life, and that's how I feel when I'm here. In my personal time, I love spending time with my beautiful daughter, Annabelle, my amazing son Jackson, and my fiancé Aaron! We enjoy going to the zoo and different museums together. I also love rats (we have 10 pet rats, including one that is hairless!!), Starbucks, Harry Potter and online shopping!! I completed my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration at Kendal College in Fall of 2018 and completed my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Administration through National Louis University.

Hi I’m Cassie! I am 36 years old. I have 3 children of my own. I have been in daycare/ child rearing for over 18 years. I absolutely love teaching kids and getting to know them! I am beyond excited to be a part of Elm Tree and helping teach your children!

Lead Teacher - Pre-K Classroom
Hello! My name is Ms. Lyn and I am currently a floating Lead Teacher. I joined the Elm Tree family in 2019 and have had a wonderful time working with the students ever since. I began as an assistant teacher but soon worked my way up to earning a CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential. Before teaching, I earned my Associate in Science at COD and transferred to UIUC where I completed my Bachelor in Astronomy. I think space is the coolest, but I love science in general and other STEM subjects, too. I live here in Villa Park with my parents and, although I have no siblings, I have a very large extended family that I love to spend time with. I also love to read, take naps, and play with my 3 guinea pigs!

Hi! I am Mrs. Jude and I am the cook for the center. I've been here at St. Paul since 2017 and I enjoy providing your children with all of the snacks and meals at the center throughout the day. I take inspiration from the children, I pay attention to their likes and dislikes, and I ensure that all of the children are provided a nutritious meal to sustain them for learning throughout the day! My name is Mrs. Cheryl and I have been working part time at Elm Tree since 2010. I have been in the teaching field for 45 years in various roles including a Pre-K teacher, kindergarten teacher, fourth grade teacher, and a director for an an extended day kindergarten and after school program.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and traveling. My son and daughter-in-law live in Ohio with my grandsons, Ben and Ollie. My daughter and son-in- law live close by with my grandson, Cameron and granddaughter, Evie.

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher
Hello, I'm Ms Vivi and I am currently one of the lead teachers in the Pre-K room. I am a returning staff- I originally joined the Elm Tree Family (formally known as St Paul) back in 2016. I originally began as a volunteer during their summer program and immediately felt connected with the staff and found my love for teaching! Back then, I had been a recent graduate with my Associates Degree from College of DuPage. I left to further my education and experience and I am returning to their program in 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University. Although I don't have a degree in Early Childhood Education, my degree does have a high focus on child growth and development. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my almost 8 year old Pitty Mix, Kaia who was adopted by my fiancé back in September of 2017. Although she is on average around 50lbs, she is very much a lap dog with no boundaries around us!

Hello, my name is Marcia Kobiella. I live in Lombard with my husband, Randy. I have three daughters and 6 amazing grand kids- 4 girls and 2 boys, ages 2-10.
I have been in early childhood settings for 30+ years. This is my second time working at ELM Tree ( I was here pre-pandemic when it was still called St. Paul), and I love the program and the people I work with. I look forward to meeting you and working with your children.

I graduated in 2015 from Eastern Illinois and since then I have been in the classroom as a teacher and para professional. I have worked with preschoolers and elementary students. I have also worked with Gen Ed students, special ed students and in blended classrooms.
